Installing & Running
glogg currently runs on Windows and UNIX based systems. A MacOSX version is also expected at some point.
An up to date Windows installer is available at glogg-latest-setup.exe. It is safe to install over an existing version if you want to update glogg to the latest version.
glogg is currently tested on Windows XP and Windows 7.
The latest version of glogg can be automatically installed and upgraded if you use Ubuntu 10.04 LTS (Lucid Lynx). It is done by adding the PPA found at https://launchpad.net/~nickbnf/+archive/glogg.
Short procedure to install:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:nickbnf/glogg sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install glogg
From source code
For other platforms, you can build glogg from source. The source code of the latest version is available at glogg-latest.tar.gz
Building is to be done this way:
tar xzf glogg-latest.tar.gz cd glogg-X.X.X (replace X with the version) qmake (or qmake-qt4 on debian/ubuntu) make make install INSTALL_ROOT=/usr/local (as root if needed)
You need to have the Qt development libraries installed (tested on version 4.3.0 and later).
For the very latest version, the source code is hosted on a git repository at git://github.com/nickbnf/glogg.git. The master branch usually points to the latest released version while the devel branch is the very latest, though not necessarily stable code.
